Laser Therapy
Active Chiropractic & Wellness Centre offers the advanced BioFlex® Laser Therapy System. With three laser systems in our office, we can provide treatments to multiple patients, or can treat three areas of your body simultaneously.
Orthotics
Lack of proper care, ill-fitting shoes and general foot neglect are responsible for the majority of foot problems. It’s important to understand your feet have direct impact on the rest of your body and support you with each step. A small abnormality in foot function can have a large impact on joints higher up in the body, causing pain and discomfort.
Spinal Stenosis Management
Spinal stenosis is the narrowing of the spinal cord canal, a common ailment that compresses the spinal cord or spinal nerve roots. This compression can lead to back and leg pain, cramping of the legs, numbness and tingling, muscle spasms, weakness in the legs preventing comfortable walking and even incontinence or paralysis.

Working with her clients, Maura coaches them to develop the skills to master the art of well-being, to convert chaos to clarity, crush overwhelm, boldly pivot and embrace change so they can express themselves fully and be the best version of themselves.
Smoking Cessation
Smoking is a social habit associated with daily activities, a chemical addiction and an emotional addiction. We stimulate classic acupuncture points using our Laser System to help reduce cravings and minimize the addictive effects of smoking. We also address the social habit and emotional addictions to break the smoker’s patterns.
